The Global Address List or GAL for short is a centralized location that stores all your company’s users and their information in a list that is accessible from within Outlook. Items in the GAL may include much more than just an e-mail address or fax number, however. Each entry in the GAL can include a name, physical address, several phone numbers, multiple e-mail addresses, fax numbers, and lots of other information about the user.
